Animosity and Sympathy

With the events that transpired these few days past, I find the play of these words quite interesting in how it describes emotions and attitudes towards personalities that has made it to the headlines. I am referring of course to the nations' sympathy towards the 3 Fellowmen who were meted death for having found guilty of a heinous crime. I feel sorry for those bereaved by the incident but I apologies too for my expression of my personal view on the issue. Because I feel a little bit awkward on treating sensationalized issues like these, wherein tried and proven guilty criminals(ops sorry again!)are treated with national sympathy like national heroes martyred for an heroic cause. Likewise with a "personality who harakiried himself for senate inquiry on alleged plunder of military fund. Since when did Filipinos accept as honorable "Harakiri" Maybe if this is in Japan yes. But what makes me wonder the most is why are we too sympathetic to sensationalized incident like these and on the other hand, express with vehemence animosity towards the issue of burying a great national leader in the "Libingan ng mga Bayani" who has serve as a national hero, just because he is accused of plunder. Why not allow him to be buried among the Heroes there, that are also accused of plunder and other crimes? I just ask!
